There are coloured lakes and features within the salt flats that are lifted by exuberant unusual colours not in line with the normal colours of a landscape. The salt lakes are stepp.ed and structured like paddy fields which creates odd mc escher esque horizon lines. bobbly red hills in the distance like richard moss. there is biolumesence in some of the water which adds colour but illuminates the environment. --v 6.1
